Walk In Centres (WICs): Attending a WIC costs the practice approximately £78 per attendance. Many such consultations occur out of hours when patients could easily access Derbyshire Health United (DHU), the Out Of Hours (OOH) service at Scarsdale, Chesterfield. This is effectively free, as it's already been paid for! |

Accident & Emergency (A&E): Again, attending A&E costs the practice approximately £78 per attendance. Many such consultations could easily be dealt with by either the OOH service at Scarsdale or, if in hours, by the Practice. Remember, A&E is for accidents and emergencies only. |

The OOH service can be reached simply by ringing the Practice on the usual number 01246 419040. When we're closed, calls get automatically diverted to Derbyshire Health United (DHU). |

Dr. Bull availability
Dr. Bull has been selected to serve on both the Board & Clinical Reference Group of the newly formed North Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group (NDCCG).
Because of these duties, he will be less available in practice for consultations by 1/2 to 1 day per week. We trust you will be understanding of this development.
We have a great team of other doctors, however!
